A message from our Vicar, Revd Dave Thomson
Our church building is now open for worship on Sundays at 10.30am and Wednesdays at 6.30pm, but space is limited to 30 on a first come, first served basis. Worshippers will need to comply with a series of restrictions to ensure we remain COVID secure (see here for details)
We will continue live streaming on our Facebook Page on Sundays at 12 noon (see pewsheet page for details). Just click on the link above or the tab on the left. You don't need to be on Facebook yourself.
And if you have been accessing our livestreamed services, or are simply looking at our website, welcome!
Perhaps you find church online easier to try out than a physical building, perhaps these extraordinary times have triggered something spiritually inside you, perhaps you would appreciate linking with a Christian community. If, for whatever reason, you would appreciate some human contact with our church, or have a question, then please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Our COVID secure risk assessment is here.
'Celebrating, encouraging, proclaiming and supporting faith, hope and love in Jesus Christ our Lord.'
'Helping people to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and their neighbour as themselves.'
Christ Church is the parish church for Ainsworth village and the surrounding area, including Bradley Fold.
We are a friendly village church alive with the love of Jesus.
Jesus said, "... anyone who comes to me I will never drive away." (John 6:37) Jesus welcomes all who come to him, no matter who they are or what they have done.
In this spirit, everyone who comes to Christ Church is assured of a warm welcome.
The Church of England is committed to the protection of children and those adults who may be at risk. Information about Safeguarding at Christ Church, together with the contact details of our Parish Safeguarding Coordinator or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor can be found here.
